The things which make movies attractive are the kinetic elements. These elements do not designate only the kinetic images. And these elements also include diverse things like the sound and the mood. Thus, people can feel the scene in a movie even without seeing it. These elements function by spending the time. And spectators feel the scene when they spend their time as the movie is running. In the 10-second scene in which a mother and a son are hugging, spectators can feel the emotion through hearing the sound of breathing. In the scene in which two men are confronting each other before a big match, spectators can also sense the tension through feeling the silence. Even in the static scene, people are touched through feeling the mood. These things which the movies bring are the things which the still images cannot bring. Precisely, the movies bring us to the time of a special experience. And in the process, the sound functions as an important element.

The form of buildings is usually static. But the buildings are aging as people and the environment are aging. The buildings are strongly related to surroundings. Thus it is necessary to regulate the role of the buildings among surroundings. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes or more time in the space of the buildings. The time when a person is drinking, the time when a person is having dinner or the time when a person is taking a walk around. These times which people spend in the buildings are important points which have to be considered. When a person is doing something in a building, the person hears the sound of the rain, the sound of children`s playing or the sweet melody of the piano. People can feel the kinetic elements through the sound from the surroundings even if they are in the static form of the buildings.

Recently, taking the light into the buindings is the common way to feel the outside. But the way to take in the sound has been passive until now. So I intend to take the sound into the buinding. And to achieve this, I propose the house which is composed of an acoustic shell and a ceiling which is opened to the outside.

This house is composed of a roof which functions as an acouctic shell and the space under the roof. The roof has glass chasms which the light passes through and many faces which help the reflection of the sound between inside and outside. The living area on the second floor is entirely open except the staircase. And the glass fence surrounds the space. In addition, the dinning area which is located on the first floor has a glass ceiling which can be opened and closed toward the roof. Each room on the first floor has the windows which can be opened entirely to the outside. These help people relate with the outside and feel the sound while they stay in this house.
